Architecture and interior studio in Canggu. We design private villas across Bali — end-to-end, from site briefing to turn-key delivery.
The studio was founded in 2014 by a small team that had spent a decade building villas across Bali — first as contractors, then as designers. We saw too many beautiful renders fall apart on site because they were never made for the heat, the rain, the way Balinese crews build, or the way owners actually live.
So we built a studio that does the whole thing in one place. Architecture, interiors, permits, construction supervision, FF&E. One team, one budget, no handover gaps.
Ten years and 85 villas later, we still work the way we started — with the people who pour the concrete, sand the teak and tile the pool. That hasn't changed and it won't.
Every villa starts with the plot — its orientation, breeze, soil, slope, neighbours, and the way the sun moves through it. The brief comes second.
Bamboo, teak, terrazzo, lava stone — sourced from the island, finished by craftsmen we've worked with for years. Imports are the exception, not the rule.
Deep eaves, cross-ventilation, raised plinths, recessed openings. The villa should be comfortable without the AC for most of the year.
PBG, SLF, zoning — we handle it before construction starts. No surprises mid-build. We know which areas of Bali have which restrictions and what the lead times look like in 2025.
Fixed-scope estimates in IDR & USD. Monthly site reports with photos, hours, line-item spend, and variance against budget. You always know where your money is.
Rain season, full house, owner's family in town — the villa is tested by use. We follow up at 3, 6 and 12 months. Anything that needs adjusting, we adjust.
